distortion and corruption of love

The Pope had 300 pages about marriage and love, a document no one will read except the foot notes.

What is missing? The dehumanization of the sexual revolution...or maybe it is not missing as much as hidden in plain sight within the mushy hallmark card treacle about marriage.

And of course the papers in the MSM are busy saying: OH NO. He won't let gay sex (while the modernist types are going around saying: Well he wanted to change things but the damn bishops stood in the way. but give him time).

So the MSM is pushing MSM sex again. MSM as in "Men sex men": The term used in public health for homosexual sexual encounters, since some of the men are bisexual.

and then their happy stories about happy MSM couples as if they were faithful and true and never did decadent things.

So we have in the WAPO, via Drudge, of course, this small article on "chemsex".

Orgies? Yes. But in the gay community. Of course.

This is not the same time public health had to contend with strange chemicals there, of course.

the key part in the article is

In an interview with British magazine Gay Times, BBC Radio 4 journalist Mobeen Azhar recounted his experience hunting for chemsex anecdotes. “I actively searched for someone to tell me how they’d made an informed and calculated choice to use chems and, that for them, the chem scene is just recreation.” What he found instead, Azhar said, were stories tinged with sadness. “Even those who told me sex on chems made them feel ‘like a don’ would follow up such celebratory statements with tales of rejection, regret, loneliness and longing for intimacy,” he said. “These became reoccurring themes among every chem user I spoke to.”

ya think?

of course, the "PC" reason is that their self esteem is bad because..."homophobia".

According to the handful of studies that exist, men may take chemsex drugs to “manage negative feelings, such as a lack of confidence and self esteem, internalised homophobia, and stigma about their HIV status,” McCall and her colleagues wrote in the BMJ.
yes it is YOUR fault, and the fault of the damn Christians who say having promiscuous sex and taking drugs is evil. Just accept them and wink at their sins, and the problem will be solved (not) and they will settle down like Ozzie and Harriet and adopt a few kids in the suburbs.

Except they won't. (One early HIV study was surprised that quiet suburban gay men had a high rate of HIV...because they spent the weekend in orgies in the city, so their rate was almost as high as in the inner city).

but the article does recognize the problem: Hedonism.

Others argue marginalized men use chemsex as a bonding mechanism — or simply because chemsex feels good.

ya think?

who am I to judge:

Taking GHB, mephedrone and crystal meth together is meant to “induce a feeling of instant rapport with sexual partners,” the authors of the BMJ paper write. The ultimate goal is better sex — for long periods of time, frequently and with multiple partners. But Hannah McCall, an author of the editorial and a London-based reproductive-health expert, told The Washington Post in November she “wouldn’t call it outlandish behavior.” Rather, she wants chemsex participants to be aware of risks, which include unprotected sex and sharing needles. “A lot of people having chemsex make informed decisions, just as people using alcohol make informed decisions.”

two problem. People don't make "informed" decisions about alcohol. Most drink it as a way to socialize and have done so for 5000 years. A few drink to get drunk, and that is not an informed decision, but an action with moral consequences and health consequences.

Similar for this: except there are no "moral" reasons to take the drug.

it is about pleasure.

And notice the part where those interviewed got the drug from pals at the BBC...wonder how much of the news about gays is distorted because of aggressive homosexual activists.

Says a lot that the investigator at BBC4 has a Muslim name.

so do such things happen with heterosexual couples? Yes, but I suspect with few people, and a tiny percentage of all of them.

I remember the sexual revolution, when people like Norman Mailer were heralding "negrosex" meaning casual sex with serial partners and no guilt. But of course, he was projecting his own ideas on the "other", in this case the poor in the slums. Or maybe he projected his ideas on blacks because back then homosexuality was taboo.

Now it is being pushed by the press, the TV/movies and the US embassy in your country as not just something you need to ignore but as desirable to be promoted with young people learning to navigate the shoals of growing up.

Siah.

So where is the Pope? The Bishops? Who knows... they won't be quoted of course.

IN the meanwhile, our own "God made me this way and now I realize he loves me and it's okay that I seduce the help, divert funds to my so called boy friend, get drunk and berate my wife and refuse to pay my daughter's school fees" is back again threatening to throw me out of my house.

The excuse is that the body guard/night watchman is someone who he raped and hates him, and has gotten drunk and threatened his other minions in a fight when drunk.

presumably I'll be happy and safe if I "OBEY" him and let one of his limp wrist friends guard the place from the other side of the compound, or just elecphone him in his third floor love nest if I hear something.

Sigh. Soap opera time.

I taped the end of his last tirade (I had to download the app) but found his daughter similarly was taping his threats and abuse.

Heh.
