why the sudden war against Vance

I am reading a lot of anti Vance stuff including the WSJ editorial and twittermon and a bigshot female criticizing him for missing a meeting when the reason was his wife was having a baby

 And opinion writers trying to drive a wedge bye him and trump and Rubio

Then you have his secret service detail leaking information on where he is and I noticed his family had to move onto a military base for safety 

A full blown attack that séems organized and personal.

But I have just started reading his book communion an will have to check his interviews about it
