Inspired to offer prayers

I am not a very good "prayer warrior", but I do pray for my family and my former patients sometimes, especially when I think of someone.

But there is a strange coincidence about the Palins that make me wonder what God has in store for her.

Now, I'm in the PHilippines, and we don't watch a lot of news, and usually we are "off cycle" for US news.

I only knew about governor Palin when she had her child with Down's syndrome. So when she was nominated for VP, I was happy. Yet God told me to pray for her.

This was strange, and I didn't hear voices, I merely got a strong idea that she needed prayers. The next day, the horrible garbage started to be thrown against her and her family, a spew of hatred that was only surpassed by the hatred of the left and the atheists against George Bush.

(I am a Democrat, by the way, but my party left me, but that's another story).

Yesterday again I had an impulse to pray for Palin and her family, especially her husband.

today the tabloids are suggesting he "had an affair", no details, but you can see where this is going.

Sad.

So it makes me wonder: What plans has God got in store for her?

I don't think she should run for president in 2012. She is not qualified.

And I don't especially follow her in the news.

But I pray for her soul and the spiritual health of her family. And obviously there is a spiritual warfare going on around her.
