the pentecostals are coming! the Pentecostals are coming (/S)

 Ive seen some posts around the internet about these types, but Get Religion has a long post about the prophecies for Trumpieboy and the religious fevor for him.

several critical articles posted about this and then GR adds:

I’ve been warning for some time that there’s an ascendant Pentecostal/charismatic movement that is, in many ways, way more aggressive and powerful than its non-charismatic evangelical counterpart.

The former is growing like crazy. The latter (if you look at declining baptism statistics in among the decidedly non-charismatic Southern Baptists as an indicator) is not so active

 

not mentioned in that article (but maybe in the articles they link to which I have not read: Cardinal Vigano was there too.

 so who cares if a bunch of idiot believers pray and then demonstrate for a politician who opposes a corrupt opponant who stole the election?
