.so one does hope that a Pope who is busy destroying the church in the name of reaching out also going to be corrected by a couple of bishops who have intestinal fortitude? I am reading a book about why the pentecostal/charismatic churches are quietly (i.e. story ignored by the MSM) exploding in membership in the third world. We see that here, but maybe not in our rural area, but the bishops in Manila are quite PC. The reason that the charistmatic churches are getting members is that they have answers for ordinary people to help them with their daily life. The old fashioned private devotions did this (one thinks of the huge Black Nazarene procession in Manila, where a procession is about Christ who suffered and understand our suffering, or even in the US, where our small coal town church still holds the Sorrowful Mother novena weekly, started during WWII when people worried about their sons in danger but also because the coal miners faced danger in their daily work. So what does this pope's pachimama nonsense (as if all Native American tribes were the same) or his latest nonsense, a manga resembling Greta to attract teenagers with a trivial fictional characters.
